Tips & Tricks How to Use Spotify ReVanced with Antisplit APKs

Using ReVanced on Android to get Spotify’s premium features without paying has worked for a while. But recently, Spotify changed how they package their app, splitting it into multiple parts, which causes problems for users trying to install or patch it with older methods.

The problem:
When trying to patch the latest Spotify version (like v8.9.36.592) with ReVanced using the old antisplit method, the installation fails or the app crashes. This is because Spotify now releases its app as separate pieces (split APKs) instead of a single file. Tools that used to combine a simple, single APK no longer work properly.

The simple fix (updated for 2025):
1. Download a standard, single-part Spotify app
- Use trusted websites like www.apkmirror.com
- Look for the “universal” or “nodpi” version — these are single APK files that include everything in one piece.

2. Use ReVanced Manager (version 1.8.10 or newer)
- Open ReVanced Manager and patch the downloaded universal APK.
- Pick only the essential patches, like removing ads and enabling premium features.

3. Install the patched app
- If you run into installation errors because of app signatures, uninstall the existing Spotify first (if it was installed from the Google Play Store).
- Then install your patched version.

4. Optional: Use Vanced MicroG for login support
- Download from github.com
- It helps you log into Spotify without issues.

What doesn’t work anymore:
- Methods that rely on combining separate APK pieces (antisplit + configs) no longer work with ReVanced.
- Older tools and community patchers are often outdated and cannot bypass Spotify's protections anymore.
- Custom ROM versions of Spotify with extra security measures usually break when patched.

For advanced users:
If you’re comfortable, you can try merging split APKs into one file using tools like SAI (Split APKs Installer) or APKCombo Installer. However, success isn’t guaranteed and depends on matching the right architecture and display settings.

Tips from the community:
- Some find that versions of Spotify before v8.9.36 are easier to patch reliably.
- Using tools like revanced-cli offers more control if you want to customize patches or work around ReVanced Manager’s limits.

With this approach, you can still enjoy Spotify with premium features through ReVanced, even after its changes to how the app is packaged. Just remember to check patch compatibility before updating Spotify itself.
